Art Around the World

Go on an artistic journey around the world!

In Art Around the World, students travel around the globe, exploring different countries and their cultures. Then, they create art that represents what they learned from that culture, like a model pagoda from China or Matryoshka Dolls from Russia. Students both develop important artistic techniques like color mixing and perspective while building confidence, creativity, and cultural understanding as they make unique works that reflect the diversity of nature and human society.

Famous Artists

Learn about art from the masters!

This art course introduces students to beloved artists from Georgia O’Keeffe to Pablo Picasso, exploring their unique styles and artworks. In each lesson, an experienced instructor introduces students to a famous artist’s work by examining a particular piece and what makes it unique. Then, students will use that technique in their own work of art. As they construct artistic representations that emulate the artists’ famous works, they explore the rich history of art and the tools and techniques that make masterpieces.
