We creatively combine our most popular enrichment programs into unforgettable thematic one-week long experiences. Perfect for summer, intersession, or any out-of-school time, students will spend either a half or full day engaging in hands-on activities that promote life skills, fitness, and joy! As community-cultivators, our professional instructors foster the joy of learning and support each and every student to thrive in the 21st century.

3D Creations

Students bring art and engineering ideas to life with 3D printing pens and Strawbees! Using 3Doodler pens, they turn science, math, and design concepts into three-dimensional projects, with room to doodle and explore their own ideas. Strawbees challenges students to build with versatile straw pieces, test their designs, and share their creations. From drawing in 3D to constructing original models, students discover the joy of learning through hands-on invention.

3D Printing

A world of invention is at students’ fingertips with 3Doodler printing pens! Students turn science, engineering, math, and art concepts into three-dimensional creations through guided STEAM projects. They explore how a design moves from an idea to a model, experimenting with techniques and adding their own creative touches. With opportunities to doodle, construct, and invent, students develop creative thinking and experience the excitement of making something they imagined.

AgriFinance

Running a farm takes more than growing crops! Students explore the business of agriculture as they manage budgets, track crops, and play market games. They discover how loans, investments, and changing market trends influence the decisions farmers make every day. Through hands-on activities, students use math and strategy to manage resources and consider what makes a farm profitable, building financial literacy and an understanding of the connections between agriculture and entrepreneurship.

Art Meets Science

Students experiment with color, investigate the natural world, and find inspiration for their own creations! Visual Arts introduces mixed-media projects inspired by artists and cultures, giving students opportunities to try different techniques and express their ideas. Wacky Science and Nature Watch add hands-on experiments and projects exploring scientific concepts, animals, and ecosystems. Students discover new ways to observe and create as they enjoy the imaginative possibilities of art and the excitement of scientific discovery.

Aspiring medical researchers investigate the science inside the human body! Through hands-on labs and interactive experiments, students explore cells, DNA, and the biological systems that keep the body working. They discover how organs work together and how genetics and biotechnology help scientists understand health and medicine. Asking questions, collecting observations, and examining results gives learners a firsthand introduction to biomedical research and the ways science helps explain and improve human health.

Build & Play

Young builders use their imaginations to design, construct, and play! 3Dux Design introduces hands-on building activities that connect art, shapes, and engineering, giving students opportunities to plan structures and try creative solutions. Nexplore Games adds playful challenges that encourage reasoning, communication, and making choices with others. Students explore what they can create with building materials and discover new ways to solve problems through shared play and the joy of learning.

SUMMER 2027

Build & Sculpt

Students explore three-dimensional design with two hands-on favorites: clay and building bricks! Pottery encourages young artists to plan, sculpt, and refine their own creations using clay and sculpting tools. BrickLAB introduces architectural ideas through building activities inspired by structures from around the world. Working with different materials, students develop fine motor skills and creative problem-solving as they discover how art and engineering influence what they can make.

Builders & Design Studio

Young architects put their ideas to work through creative construction challenges! Young Architects & Builders introduces shapes, forces, and the engineering design process as students investigate how structures are built and why they stand strong. BrickLAB extends their exploration with brick-based activities that make STEAM concepts tangible. Students plan, build, and test their designs, working together to solve problems and discover how thoughtful engineering can turn an imaginative idea into a sturdy structure.

Chess

Every move brings a new challenge as students learn to plan ahead, spot opportunities, and sharpen their chess skills! Nexplore Chess Academy explores openings, tactics, and checkmate through guided practice and engaging play, with a bracelet progression system that recognizes students’ growing abilities. Alongside their time at the chessboard, students enjoy creative side projects with 3Doodler printing pens, adding a fun opportunity to experiment with three-dimensional art and design.

Clay Expressions

Creative expression and meaningful connections are at the center of this camp! Character Development, powered by Second Step® Out-of-School Time, helps students explore feelings, practice empathy, and build friendships through interactive activities and playful communication. Pottery provides a hands-on outlet for their ideas as they plan and sculpt original clay creations. Students strengthen social and artistic skills in a supportive environment that encourages them to express themselves and appreciate the perspectives of others.

Coding Camp

A story can change, a character can move, and a robot can respond when students write the instructions! Coding with Scratch combines animation, sound, and interactive projects to explore programming through creative expression. Robotics with Edison lets learners investigate how code controls a physical robot. Students trace what happens, adjust their instructions, and try new approaches, developing computational thinking and the confidence to tackle programming challenges with others.

Dough Lab

Dough becomes an electrical engineering tool in this inventive mix of science and construction! Squishy Circuits guides students through electrical energy, conductors, and insulators as they create dough models that light up, spin, or make noise. BrickLAB offers another approach to design through architectural building activities. Students explore how circuits work and how structures fit together, combining imaginative creations with hands-on experiments that build their understanding of science and engineering.

Aspiring designers express their personal style through miniature fashion and wearable art! Fashion Design guides students as they plan, sketch, and create original outfits, exploring composition, color combinations, and different materials. Jewelry-making introduces crafting techniques and concepts like color theory and balance as learners develop their own pieces. Students strengthen artistic and fine motor skills throughout the design process, taking pride in the distinctive looks and accessories they create.

Fold & Draw

Students discover the creative possibilities of paper through drawing and origami! Drawing introduces guided projects and artistic techniques that help learners develop their skills and express their own ideas. Origami puts a STEAM twist on traditional paper folding, connecting folded creations to shapes, spatial relationships, and the world around them. From pencil marks to carefully placed folds, students practice focus and precision as they create artwork and three-dimensional paper designs.

Into the Wild

From Arctic habitats to desert landscapes, students discover the variety of life on Earth! Nature Watch explores animals, ecosystems, and climate through hands-on activity kits and creative projects. Wild Side brings science, art, and movement together to introduce different habitats and the living things within them. Students investigate how organisms depend on their surroundings, express their discoveries through creative activities, and build an appreciation for the natural world.

It’s Electric

Students uncover the circuitry behind interactive games and inventive gadgets! Electronic Game Design pairs Scratch programming with Makey Makey, allowing learners to design games and construct their own controllers. Electronics uses everyday materials and electrical components for projects that produce light or motion. Students connect wires, test inputs, and troubleshoot their work, learning how electricity and code can work together to transform a creative design into an interactive experience.

LEGO® Robotics & Micro:bit

Students become inventors with LEGO® bricks, micro:bit devices, and code! LEGO® Robotics combines building and block-based programming to create machines, tackle engineering challenges, and test original designs. Coding with Micro:bit uses MakeCode software to explore buttons, touch, and light through interactive projects. Students experiment, troubleshoot, and improve their creations, discovering how hardware and programming work together to solve problems and bring their ideas to life.

Lift Off

Flight becomes a subject students can investigate, engineer, and experience! Aerodynamics activities explore how aircraft designs interact with the four forces of flight, connecting physics to hands-on construction. Drone navigation challenges ask learners to apply those ideas as they guide aircraft through missions and obstacles. Students practice making adjustments, solving problems, and considering how design influences performance, gaining an exciting introduction to aeronautics and the technology that keeps aircraft flying.

Magic

Aspiring magicians learn to surprise an audience with tricks, creativity, and theatrical charm! Using magic kits and activity packs, students practice new tricks, explore imaginative challenges, and develop their own presentation style. Guided instruction helps them prepare and perform with confidence, discovering how practice and persistence contribute to a successful routine. Students build self-expression and performance skills as they enjoy sharing moments of wonder with family and friends.

Makers Club

Students become inventors through hands-on projects that explore how things work! Makers Club uses Maker Kits to introduce mechanical design, energy, and structural engineering. Build a Bot adds moving models that help students discover how circuits and motors create motion. As learners assemble components, test mechanisms, and work through building challenges, they develop practical engineering skills and experience the excitement of seeing their creations move and function.

Media Camp

Students blend creativity and storytelling through
hands-on media creation each day. In this mini camp,
students explore claymation and podcasting as two
powerful ways to bring ideas to life. Through
claymation, students learn the fundamentals of
stop-motion filmmaking as they design characters, build
scenes, and use cameras and software to produce their
own short films. In podcasting, students discover their
voice while learning audio basics such as microphone
use, sound design, and podcast formats, then plan,
record, and edit an original podcast with a clear theme
and structure. By the end of the camp, students walk
away with original media projects that showcase their
creativity, communication skills, and technological
confidence.

Playful games and lively dance give students plenty of ways to learn and move! Games uses Nexplore’s Play-Learn-Apply Method to introduce reasoning, communication, and thoughtful choices through engaging group activities. Zumba® brings age-appropriate routines and global rhythms that encourage coordination and self-expression. From working through a game with friends to moving along with the music, students build confidence and enjoy the connections between learning, play, and healthy movement.
