Nexplore Video Production introduces students to technical skills like filming and editing while exploring the historical significance of film and the elements of storytelling. From storyboarding and the rule of thirds to lighting and audio, each activity builds upon the previous one, culminating in a final film project that movie-makers proudly share. Students fuse art and technological literacy as they bring STEAM to the silver screen in this extraordinary introduction to filmmaking!
Program Requirements
TECH REQUIREMENTS:
One device (iPad, Android, Chromebook) per group of students. The device must have a camera and be able to run video editing software like the below examples.
Android Tablets: PowerDirector to edit videos, import audio and view final videos.
iPads: Perfect Video to edit videos, import music and view final videos, and Documents by Readdle to download and store audio files.
Chromebook: WeVideo to edit and view videos.
