Understand how you truly are what you eat!
Nexplore Nutrition & Cooking introduces students to both core nutritional principles and the culinary techniques they need to take them to the table. They’ll use interactive and joyful activities to explore the science behind how food affects their bodies and how you really are what you eat. Simultaneously, young chefs will explore how to creatively craft their own delicious and healthy meals. This program focuses on overall wellness and learning cooking and nutrition as everyday life skills.
Program Requirements
Stable desks or tables for cutting boards and cutting, access to water for cooking and cleaning, access to an electric outlet for an electric stove, and storage space for cooking equipment. A science lab can be an ideal location.
No stove, oven, or refridgerator required.
