New Season. New Ways to Shine: Six New Nexplore Programs Coming This Winter
A new season brings new opportunities for students to discover what excites them. This winter, Nexplore is introducing six programs across STEM, Art, and Life Skills—giving schools fresh ways to invite curiosity, encourage self-expression, and help students connect with others.
From a young learner’s first magnetic-tile creation to a high school team’s community action proposal, each program offers a different starting point for purposeful exploration. Students can build, share ideas, try new strategies, and practice skills that reach beyond a single activity.
Here’s a closer look at what’s coming and which learners each program is designed for.
Magnetic Makers: Big Ideas Start Small
STEM | Grades PreK–K

What can a few colorful shapes become? In Magnetic Makers, young learners explore that question by building towers, houses, animals, and bridges with magnetic tiles. Along the way, they investigate colors, counting, letters, patterns, and the ways shapes fit together.
Building becomes an opportunity to notice, test, and try again. Students explore what helps a structure stand and how a design might improve, while sharing materials and ideas with classmates. These playful challenges introduce early math and literacy skills alongside creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Wonder Math: Discover the Story Behind the Numbers
STEM | Grades 2–7

Math becomes an invitation to explore in Wonder Math. Character-driven stories, games, and hands-on challenges give students engaging ways to practice grade-level concepts and work through problems together.
The learning goes beyond arriving at an answer. Students explain their thinking, consider different strategies, and learn from mistakes as they build understanding. By making room for conversation and shared discovery, Wonder Math helps learners approach new challenges with growing confidence and experience the joy of figuring something out.
Comedy: Make Room for Laughter and Creativity
Art | Grades K–5

A silly story or an unexpected reaction can spark a whole new idea. Comedy invites students to explore humor through improv games, original jokes, physical comedy, and playful performances.
As students create and share their ideas, they practice listening, communicating clearly, and thinking on their feet. Working with classmates gives them opportunities to respond to one another and bring a scene to life together. The focus is on creative expression, growing confidence, and discovering how humor can help people connect.
Happiness: Practice Skills for Everyday Well-Being
Life Skills | Grades K–5

Understanding feelings is an important part of learning about ourselves and others. Happiness gives students space to explore emotions and well-being through music, growth mindset projects, mindfulness exercises, and activities designed to ease worries.
Students practice identifying emotions, managing stress, and developing coping skills they can use when feelings become big. Lessons introduce screen-free approaches to self-regulation and healthy habits while encouraging optimism, resilience, and stronger relationships. These experiences give learners practical ways to care for themselves and connect with people at school, at home, and with friends.
Negotiation: Listen, Strategize, and Find Common Ground
Life Skills | Grades 6–12

Reaching an agreement takes more than making a persuasive argument. In Negotiation, students explore priorities, consider different perspectives, and practice finding creative solutions through games, team challenges, and real-world scenarios.
From business deals to everyday decisions, learners work on communicating their ideas and making strategic offers. A final team negotiation challenge brings those skills together: students must prepare, adapt their approach, and collaborate toward an agreement. It’s an opportunity to put planning, communication, and problem-solving into action.
Civic Engagement: Turn Ideas into Community Action
Life Skills | Grades 9–12

How can students help shape the communities they belong to? Civic Engagement invites learners to investigate that question through research, discussion, role-play, and collaborative projects.
Students examine how public decisions are made, compare perspectives, and practice respectful debate and compromise. As they develop advocacy skills, they use evidence to propose solutions to issues that matter to them. The program concludes with a civic action campaign or proposal, giving students a purposeful way to connect their learning with a community concern.
Fresh Possibilities for Your Winter Program🚀
These six additions offer schools new ways to create a varied enrichment experience, with options for learners from PreK through high school. Whether students are drawn to building, storytelling, performing, or collaborating, there’s a new opportunity to explore an interest and practice meaningful skills.
